In Huntington, local riders ride for sight and in Grafton they dodged raindrops to help a friend in need. We explore the pleasures of heated motorcycle clothes for the colder season ahead, and go on a fall colors rally for one. A motorcycle is given away at a bike night in Charleston and a hidden highway with a famous name is exposed.

The first of our two part series about the problems ethanol-blended gasoline is causing in motorcycles. Bikers held several 9-11 tributes that are chronicled in this issue: In Bluefield, a ride for the Red Cross raised $29,000, and the Patriot Riders escorted a piece of the World Trade Center through the state on its way to a museum in Georgia. An open House at Evel Speed and a solitary ride through the Monongahela National Forest are among the other stories in this issue.
